APPEARANCE || Andrianna is a very beautiful woman and she knows it. She is tall, slim and has a small build she inherited from her mother. Andrianna is just as curvy as her mother is though, she has lighter skin and a symmetrical face which often has people commenting on her strange beauty and strong bone structure. She is very much someone who would make the perfect model.


PERSONALITY || Andrianna is a Petrova woman, she is strong physically and mentally, breaking her is no easy task. Throughout her life she has allowed herself to be weak but don’t be mistaken her moments of weakness don’t last long and are a rare occasion. For around 1400 years Ann has only had herself to rely on, the only person to hold herself up and keep herself going. For this reason she has learnt to become very independent, self-reliant and has become a great observer and manipulator to reach her own means.

Of course unlike some in her family Andrianna isn’t someone who likes to hurt others unless measures call for it, she will admit breaking people can be fun, she did torture people for information during WWII so breaking someone is something she is very good at doing and enjoys as sadistic as it is. She knows the limits to people and is always eager to explore new people’s limits. She will kill and threaten to protect those she loves but to get her way she goes about things in a very different way and unless someone threatens her or her family she tends to be very civil and adult in handling situations. While she might enjoy taking someone’s life at times she doesn’t get over excited and has remorse for those she kills… depending on what they did to her and her family. She’s mature, intelligent and very cunning.

Ann has not lost many battles because she has so much experience in them, she has learnt to calculate situations and has grown patience in her time though even she loses control and lets her frustration and impatient nature get the best of her. Of course it’s her humour that often gets her in trouble, she has a very dry sense of humour but manages to make people laugh and smile, she knows the importance of laughter and the importance of knowing when to shut up. She can be a funny but is a sensitive girl to herself and to those around her. Over the years she has become very gifted with reading people’s body language, their facial expressions and learning what tones and sounds mean what, she often makes fun of these and uses them to her advantage, you’ll find she can be bitter but can be the laugh and light of the party.

As a child and human she was close to her mother until she was married off then their relationship became a bit strained, mainly because Ann did not get a say in her marriage and was taken to another town.   Henrik is someone Ann has known all her life. She met him when she was an infant and took a liking to him over any of his other family, he was the only one she wouldn't shy from. As she got older and learnt he was still alive she became a friend of his and eventually came to love him, in her mind he is her true love and the only person she has ever wanted to be with but her mother married her off and it wasn't until she was saved by Henrik and turned into a vampire by him did they start a relationship. For the past 1500 years she has been trying to find a way to be with him without having to run from her mother. Her heart has and always will belong to Henrik and while her mother has forced her keep away from him it has not stopped her from writing to him on the very odd occasion. She owns one of his most famous photographs without realising it's his.

  Howard was someone Andrianna met a good 300 years ago, she fell in love with him and turned him into a vampire, though when he became a Ripper she struggled to help him, thinking killing him was the only option to keep the vampire community a secret and protect the innocents she went to kill him but failed and instead left him telling him to sort himself out. For 100 years she has been keeping an eye on Howard and helping him out. Part of her loves him still but another part doesn't, she cares deeply for him though and will continue to protect him but if he returns to his ripper ways she doubts she will be able to walk away again.

  Andrianna saved Griffin's life 15 years ago, she assisted him with adjusting to being a werewolf and offered him a safe place to transform and live. Now he is apart of the family and like a brother from her point. She cares for him and would for anything to happen to him, afraid that he might become Klaus's target if Klaus gets a hold of the new doppelganger. You should avoid targeting her werewolf friend here if you value your life, she will kill for Griffin if needed.

  This girl was not someone Andrianna had ever kept an eye on until Howard saved her life and their secret was out, she later explained the truth to Sonya only to see her distress about it all. After some digging Andrianna realised Sonya had the werewolf gene and before she could assist the girl further Sonya had triggered it. Slightly frustrated by it all Andrianna welcome Sonya to their house and helped her the best way she could. She see's Sonya as an annoying little sister in some respects but she will gladly stop Sonya if she goes to do something stupid and will assist the girl with any problems. She's already killed a hunter who went after Sonya.

  Her favourite witch of all time. Andrianna has never met anyone more powerful and the guy is still young. She is not afraid of Durrett but she wanted him as a friend and not an enemy and so she approached him with an offer she knew he could not refuse. Over the years she has learnt many tricks of Durrett's and has never forced him to do anything he doesn't want to. The guy does annoy her at times but then again if he didn't he wouldn't be apart of the family. She won't tell him but she has killed a witch who tried to take Durrett's magic from him from a distance.

  A the young girl Andrianna dug her claws into a long time ago. She later compelled Romano after her parent's death and considers the girl to be a young sister. She will always protect Romano and is at present using her to keep a close eye on the new doppelganger but will keep Romano safe and out of harms way if she can avoid it. She's teaching her self defence and making sure she gets the best education acting very much like a big sister and guardian to the girl. Hurting Romano would be utterly unwise.

  Vladimir was the husband to Andrianna when she was a human, she married him at 15 when he requested permission from her mother who agreed, probably because he was older, stronger, had a house, was well out and lived in the next village over. It's speculated he has werewolf genetics in him as his brother was a werewolf but Vladimir despite killing people never showed the gene. He was the hunter in the village or soldier as they called it. Over time Ann learnt to love him and respected him, cared for him and was a good wife to him, he became a best friend to her, someone she could rely on. He taught her self defence and how to ride a horse properly and fight from a horse if need be. He is someone Amn often thinks about and became very fond of.

  Antonin is the son to Andrianna and Vladimir born when Ann was 18. He was always seen as a miracle because of the difficulty Ann had had having children before him. Ann was very close to her son and always playing with him and blowing bubbles on his stomach. He however was only 3 when he died during a werewolf attack however it was a vampire that killed him pulling him from Ann's arms before she even knew what was happening. She has never forgiven herself for taking him on a run with her that afternoon. It's possible her son had the werewolf gene.

  Ivana was born when Ann was 20, she is the daughter Vladimir always wanted and Ann would often sing her daughter to sleep and take her out into the fresh air with Antonin to watch their father train and pick wild flowers. However she never got a lot of time with her daughter as Ann died before her daughter's first birthday, it's clear her daughter carried on the family doppelganger legacy and could possibly have the werewolf gene but it was never discovered. Ann loved her daughter very much.

HISTORY ||

Born fifteen hundred and two years ago, to 16 year old Tatia Petrova and her future husband at the time. Seeing as her father took her mother’s youth before the wedding he was cast out and her mother was left unwed and raising her daughter without a man. It was seen as a sin in many eyes but Tatia always did the best she could for her child even though she was young herself. Tatia named her daughter Andrianna Petrova keeping the family name alive though it’s not like anyone could have predicted what would happen within the next few years of the town’s lives.

By the time Ann was pulling herself up and crawling two men in the village took a deep interest in her mother, while many men in the village were swoon by Tatia, Elijah and Klaus were two men who her mother returned feelings for. It was not often Ann got to see the guys but she would often shy away from strangers and hide behind her mother or burry her head in her mother’s neck, when one of them would try take her from her mother she’d start screaming the area down. Of course Andrianna as an infant and one who was starting to pick up behaviours and ways of people. She’s start making funny little noises and facial expressions and often crawled away from her mother when she was not looking always getting into sticky situations and getting lost. Funnily enough she normally did it when her mother was in the company of Klaus and it was normally Klaus who ended up finding her and bringing her home which was one of the only times Ann ever let Klaus near her let alone pick her up.

There was the odd occasion when Elijah and Klaus’s other siblings would come by and talk and enjoy themselves. She tended to be fascinated with the two younger Mikaelson siblings often laughing at Rebekah though no one knew why and would try pull on the girls hair because it was simply so long and as for Henrik he was one of the only people Ann would follow around from the family and would sit there talking her baby talk to him. Normally she would play in the mud with him and as she learnt to run would run and hide and wait to see if he would find her playing her own hide and seek game. By the time she was forming words her first one was “mama” naturally as she had not father, her second word was “ik” which she said when she saw Henrik one day and pointed saying “ik” unable to say his full name at the time. She later started saying “Bah” when Rebekah was around though she didn’t often see Rebekah.

By the time she was 2 though her world changed. People seemed sad in town but she did not know why, unaware her best friend in her mind, Henrik had been killed. It was not long after that when Esther took her mother from her and created the Vampire Curse. It was during the night Ann woke up and as normal cried in the night but her mother did not come to her which had her restless all night crying and carrying on. It was several hours later she heard her mother outside but because she couldn’t see her she started crying again. Cold, tired and starting to get the flew her mother went to Ayana the town witch for assistance who came and got Andrianna and helped prevent the fever. As her mother learnt to adjust to being a vampire Ayana often watched over the two making sure Ann was always safe ready to intervene if needed.

As Ann grew older she noticed her mother did not age like other people in the village. By 13 she got her first bleed and knew in no time people would be asking for her hand in marriage but there was only one person she wanted to marry, she never was allowed to though as her mother married her off at 15. Her mother had her marry the village over’s soldier. He was a kind man, strong, loyal and generous man who loved Andrianna, gave her a house, taught her how to fight and gave her a horse. Within the yea Ann had had a miscarriage and it was followed by 2 more. For a moment in time people assumed she would be unable to have children but she knew she needed to give her husband a child and her mother a grandchild to keep the family line going. At 18 she gave birth to that child. A little boy and at 20 she gave birth to a daughter. Her joy and her husband’s joy would not last long though.

A vampire came into Andrianna’s life and was taken back by her, he started to use her and compelled her to forget about it not realising she was having an affair, the vampire had come from Klaus’s bloodline it was believed but it cannot be proven. It went on for a few months but Ann was unaware of what was happening to her and it wasn’t until after her 21st birthday on the evening of a full moon that everything changed forever. Knowing it was the night everyone went into hiding she was heading back from her ride with her son and would have gotten back in time if she had not been attacked on the way back to the village. Riding with her son they were both suddenly thrown from the horse. Ann was knocked out and awakened a few moments later to her son shaking her. Seeing as they were in the forest Ann was unable to tell what the time was and how long she’d been out for but she noticed the horse was dead. Unaware of everything that had happened she picked her son up and headed back for the village before realising it was darker than it should be at this time of day. Knowing her son was injured she walked instead of ran back to the village but hearing screaming up ahead she knew in that moment the wolves were around and would be for a few hours. Knowing they wouldn’t make it to the village she started looking for a hide out and found one of the far off caves from the village. Hiding in there she hushed her son and covered his ears singing quietly to him so he couldn’t hear anything.

What Ann did not know was a wolf was already in the cave. While afraid herself she was more concerned about her sons life and then the unexpected happened and while thinking they were safe she heard a low growl behind her. Knowing a wolf was behind her she took in a deep breath and then her son was taken from her arms from the front of the cave. Unaware what it was she went to scramble from the cave to get her son only to be barged over by a wolf. The screams of her son only lasted a moment and when she did get out of the cave she saw someone over her son’s dead body before he went to turn to her unaware it was the vampire who had been using her. He however was soon taken out by the wolf who had been hiding behind her and drew in the attention to several other wolves. Afraid for her own life and not knowing what to do she ran for her life, in away Ann knew her life would be over that night. And not being fast enough a wolf ran her down and attacked her.

Because of the blood loss she has received and the hyperventilation she went through Ann blacked out for a moment, she briefly woke up hearing her name to see a familiar face looking down at her. Henrik. He saved her life and took her away before a wolf could get to them. When she woke up again she was in her transformation. Being stubborn she refused to turn for a moment only to give in in the end and learnt the vampire ways through Henrik and later met up with her mother. She heard how her child’s body had been found and how her husband had looked for her body but they assumed the wolves had devoured her. Knowing she could never go home she never saw her daughter who was only 1 at the time ever again. Ann learnt to deal with the truth of the world and what had happened to her, how to be a vampire and reconnect with her mother. She came to love Henrik as she always had done, travelled with him, realised true happiness.

However her mother soon got in the way and compelled Andrianna to leave and live elsewhere. And so with no choice Ann left across the sea leaving now known America behind her. Furious with her mother she did some rather nasty things she is not proud of but over time she got over it. Ann learnt how to twist people to do what she wanted, how to make money and learnt to speak several languages. She learnt how to make clothes and how to explore her vampire abilities. It was1300 years ago she saw a witch who was going to be burnt to the stake for a crime she did not commit. Ann managed to save her life and as a reward the coven presented her with a day necklace.

Ann later learnt about a doppelganger and compelled someone to go to the girls village and keep track, learning she had been banished she went to see this woman and later contacted her mother assuming her mother could deal with the problem and wrap Elijah and Klaus around their fingers. She did not stick around though and instead tracked down Katerina’s family. Upon finding them she later went to find the girls daughter and once she heard of Katerina being turned into a vampire and Klaus slaughtering her family Ann became furious and when she found the girl she took her and raised her as her own taking her to a new country all together where she raised her for a moment until she was old enough to get married, known she was safe she left hearing the Mikaelson family were lurking around America again. Once more Andrianna left over the sea and travelled around Russia, Rome, Japan and the islands. She became a lady in waiting for a Russian royal, again for Queen Elizabeth of the Golden Age and even for a French Queen spreading them out over the years as not to be recognised.

During WWII Ann tortured many German soldiers for information and even infiltrated the German army at one point… it simply gave her something to do. After the war she travelled to Australia and explored the land and then NZ. It wasn’t long after that she went back to Mystic Falls and spotted a new Doppelganger, seeing no threat to the girl at present she sent word to her mother about her discovery and kept a distant watch on the girl to soon learn about two other vampire’s. When she spotted Elijah in town she left and assumed he would not screw up this time, but he did and then Elena fucked up big time with Silas. Rather unimpressed Ann left America to escape the chaos and news wanting Elena and her friends to take responsibility for their actions and not assume those older, wiser and stronger would fix it for them not that they ever knew about her.

It was over 350 years ago Andrianna met a man she fell in love with, her love was not as strong as the love she felt for Henrik but she could not deny the attraction she felt for Howard. During a battle he was taken down and she went to heal him only for him to become a vampire. Not long after he became a vampire she noticed he became a ripper, she did everything she could to help him and try do right, to keep them safe and hidden but in the end it didn’t work and having created a monster she believed she should take him out and while she did go to kill him she spared him and instead walked away, told him to get control and then come and find her if he wanted and for 200 years she continued to do her work, run her businesses, keep her secret and after 200 years Howard found her and proved himself, having done so she gave him the Lapis ring she had always arranged for him to have but told him if he ever went back to his ripper ways she’d take it off him again, though she doubts she could walk away next time and probably will be face with having to kill him and carry it out.

Not long ago Andrianna moved to Seattle and bought a large block of land building on it. While it was being built she built her casino, opened it and noticed a new Doppelganger but this time she did not tell her mother about the girl and has a plan, she knows it might fail but she’d rather see the girl and her family dead than become vampires and another doppelganger rise in 500 years’ time. For a few years now she has been keeping an eye on the girl and her family from a distance and has recently thrown Romano into the blend but will pull the girl out if need be. This time Andrianna has no intention of walking away, she likes her life, she just wants her Henrik back and she is as determined as ever to break through to her mother, get what she wants and stop running. She’d also like to tell the man who once chased her mother where he can stick it if he so much as attempts to hurt this Doppelganger and her family, after all these are her distant family members and she’d just love to see Klaus suffer for a change after everything he has done to her family line. But she is no fool; she is simply observing from a distance and pretending to be Rosalyn Romano not Andrianna Petrova, she hopes to do this quietly and remain quiet for a moment rather than barge in guns blazing which never works, after all while she has briefly appeared before Katarina and Elena she never mentioned her name because she never verbally spoke to them simply appearing in eyesight for a few seconds before vanishing… keeping hidden is a talent.
